With regard to the 'If', I suspect that the DSF installer will need to find Dim Pro already on your system before it can install. I have done this, and it works (although, in practice, I find that I generally use Dim Pro anyway). To get Dim LE to use them, you either need to copy the contents into the respective folders used by Dim LE, or hack the registry so that Dims LE and Pro share the same folders. However, by default, the progs and multi-samples are installed in the folders that are used by Dim Pro. If you can install the expansion pack successfully on your system, the DSF Vol 1 pack will work with Dim LE and Dim Pro. This is something of a Catch 22 response, I am afraid.
